During a public conference in Vikravandi, he introduced TVK's ideology, which is inspired by social justice figures like EVR Periyar and K Kamaraj, highlighting the party's commitment to equality and secular principles.

While speaking at the event, Vijay indirectly criticized the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and its leaders without explicitly naming them. He criticized the DMK for labeling an anti-people government as the "Dravida model rule" and deceiving the public. He urged them to refrain from painting their opponents in a negative light.

Vijay emphasized that TVK's enemies are twofold: those engaging in divisive politics and a self-serving family exploiting Tamil Nadu in the guise of the Dravida model, using the names of Periyar and Anna for their own gain.
